The guests were visitors from North America. They were a fun group who did their own thing, exchanged jokes, ate and drank together, took photos, laughed, and had a great time. I threw in plenty of banter too, and after two or three hours I was finally able to join in the conversation — or perhaps they were just enjoying teasing me, but I had a lot of fun as well. Rather than acting as a tour guide, I mostly served as the photo and video crew. They would say, "We'll walk over from there to here like this, so film us from this angle," or "Take a photo here," "Do a burst shot here," and I ended up taking more than 150 photos and videos. I think that may be my personal record-high. However, on this particular day the guests' Wi-Fi wasn't working properly and we couldn't Airdrop, so I sent everything afterward by email. There has been no reply, so I suspect their Wi-Fi is still not working. At Nishiki Market they had beer, grilled meat, and karaage. They also bought furikake and T-shirts as souvenirs for their family. One of the guests eats rice almost every day at home, so the furikake was considered quite a good find. When I explained the history of each spot, they listened intently, but as soon as I finished, the "Grammy Awards red carpet photo session" would start up again. Two of them would walk along the red carpet like actresses while I, the TV crew, took their photos — over and over. At the end they told me they had a wonderful day and gave me some goods they had brought from home. They mentioned they would take the 8 o'clock Shinkansen back to Tokyo, so I imagine they are about to arrive at Tokyo Station around now. If they enjoyed themselves, then I am happy too.
