Title: What Can You See on a Private One-Day Kyoto Tour? A Licensed Guide's Report on Fushimi Inari, Arashiyama, and Kinkaku-ji
I guided guests visiting from Asia on a private one-day tour of Kyoto. We visited Fushimi Inari, Arashiyama, and Kinkaku-ji. By going early in the morning, Fushimi Inari was relatively uncrowded, and we were able to walk at a leisurely pace. In addition to these three places, I had also considered Ryoan-ji and the Nishijin Textile Center if time allowed. However, the guests were deeply moved by the beauty of the bamboo grove in Arashiyama, and after strolling slowly, shopping, and enjoying some snacks, we ended up staying there for over two hours. As a result, Kinkaku-ji became our final destination. From Kinkaku-ji, the guests took a taxi, so we parted ways there.

The experience and tour were excellent allowing us to customize according to our desires. The customer service was very flexible and accommodated a late change in reservation due to an error in booking. The guide, Kei, was thoughtful in taking us to the shrines and temples and explaining the history and cultural significance of each. This was a very positive cultural experience and I would recommend it to you.
