- ③ 11:00 Kinkaku-ji Temple
- ④ 12:20 Lunch on Sanjo-dori Street
- ⑤ 13:00 Stroll along Teramachi-dori Street ~ Stroll around the Nintendo corner on the 7th floor of Takashimaya
- ⑥ 14:00 Nijo Castle
- ⑦ 15:10 Stroll around Gion (Tatsumi Bridge / Shinbashi-dori Street)
Can You Do a Private Family-Friendly Day Tour in Kyoto? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a group visiting from North America. The tour focused mainly on topics such as food, Nintendo, a samurai and ninja museum, interesting spots in Osaka, and dinner reservations. While I was explaining about the shogun at Nijo Castle, one of the guests asked why the samurai sitting beside the shogun holding a Japanese sword was a child, and there were many such simple yet sharp questions, which made the tour both enjoyable and educational. The guests were quick-witted and engaging. No expenses were advanced.

Our guide in Kyoto was Kazu. By the end of the day, we felt like we had made a new friend.
Kazu helped us arrange the best day with our short time in Kyoto. He brought us to some “hidden gems” and gave us thorough explanations on history and culture.

Our tour guide Kazu was very knowledgeable in terms of the history and explaining many of
the wonderful ancient sites around Kyoto. Definitely a must! Otherwise, I think it would be
difficult to tourists to understand on their own.
