What's a Private One-Day Kyoto Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Nijo Castle, Fushimi Inari, and Shorenin
The guests were visiting Japan for the first time from Europe. After traveling through Tokyo, Hakone, and Takayama, they had arrived in Kyoto the previous day and strolled through Gion in the evening. Today we first headed to Nijo Castle, where I shared stories from the Warring States period and the era of the Tokugawa shoguns, and the guests were deeply impressed by the Karamon Gate, the sliding-door paintings of the Ninomaru Palace, and the ranma transom carvings. They took many photos in the Ninomaru Garden and the Honmaru Garden. At Fushimi Inari, it began to rain lightly, but the guests were moved by the Senbon Torii and the autumn foliage of Mount Inari and took many photos. Finally, at Shorenin Monzeki, the sky cleared and the late afternoon sun shone through, and the guests were captivated by the beautiful autumn colors of the Soami Garden and the Kirishima Garden, taking many photos.

We had a wonderful tour around Osaka. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information about the places we visited. He was also very friendly and approachable, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
