Title: What's an Early-Morning Private Kyoto Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu-dera, and More

The guests were visitors from North America who were visiting Japan for the first time. They had no trouble with English (I explained in another language only once), and because arranging a guide in that other language was difficult, the tour company had advised them to request an English-speaking guide. The tour started early at 7:00, and I took them to Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu-dera, Yasaka Shrine, Sanjusangendo, and Chishaku-in. I had not originally planned to include Chishaku-in, but since we had time to spare, I added it.

Among the guests, one especially enjoyed Fushimi Inari, and another liked Sanjusangendo the most. Chishaku-in, the final place I took them to, was not crowded, so they were able to enjoy the garden at a leisurely pace, and they seemed very pleased with it.
