What Is a Half-Day Private Kyoto Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

Today's guests were a group of four visiting from Asia. We traveled by public transportation, taking a bus to our first stop, Toji Temple. However, since one of the guests had difficulty walking, continuing the tour by public transportation seemed challenging, so we switched to traveling by taxi instead. The group had a reservation for shojin ryori (Buddhist vegetarian cuisine) at Tenryuji Temple starting at 1:30, so I planned the tour to explore the popular spots in western Kyoto while making sure we arrived in time. I believe they spent a fulfilling half day.
