Although there was some uncertainty because we had not been able to communicate in advance by email, the guests were cheerful, we were blessed with very good weather, and I believe they thoroughly enjoyed their first visit to Japan. Since they felt anxious about exchanging their JR Rail Pass, I showed them where to do it when we went to Kyoto Station. They mentioned that Sanjusangendo had been recommended to them by someone they met while traveling before coming to Japan. The guests seemed particularly interested in the Japanese language and used a variety of phrases. They still had about two weeks ahead of them, planning to stay in places such as Izu, Gujo Hachiman, and Tokyo, so I hope they continue to enjoy their trip.

Hi there, I’m Yuka. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I live in an onsen (hot spring) town in Hyogo prefecture. When I was working at Narita international airport as well as living in Bangkok Thailand for about 10 years, I really loved talking with people from various countries. After I came back to Japan, I got interested in guiding my beautiful country to people from abroad then I got the national guide license. I’m now working as a tour leader visiting mainly Tokyo, Hakone, Takayama, Hiroshima, Himeji and Kyoto for about 2 years. I’d like to introduce my country to you as your local friend in Japan.
