What's a Private Kyoto Day Tour Like Between Shinkansen Connections? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from North America. They arrived this morning by Shinkansen at 9:38, after traveling from Tokyo by cruise ship with stops in Shizuoka, Nagoya, and Kobe. One of the guests took a great deal of video and photos on their phone throughout the tour. Because of this, I gave detailed guidance on the best photo spots. I invited them to lunch, but since they were not hungry, we skipped it. After the tour, they were scheduled to take the 17:02 Shinkansen to Tokyo, so at the end I guided them all the way to the Shinkansen platform. They told me they were happy to have been able to visit so many wonderful places.
