Title: What Is a Private One-Day Kyoto Walking Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were visitors from North America, visiting Japan and Kyoto for the first time. One of the guests brought a DSLR camera and greatly enjoyed taking photographs, while another asked many questions whenever I explained something and listened to me very attentively throughout, which left a strong impression. They had traveled from Tokyo to Hakone to Kanazawa and then on to Kyoto, and kindly showed me many wonderful photos from each place. Since they mentioned they would be visiting Nara and attending a tea ceremony the next day, I explained about the ancient capital of Nara, about Buddhism, and about the concept of wabi-sabi while viewing the dry landscape garden at Ryoanji Temple. No transportation costs were advanced.
