Title: What Is a Private Kyoto Family Tour Like in the Rain? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from Oceania. Since it was raining, the key point of the day was arranging the itinerary so we could move around without using too much physical energy. One member of the group stayed close to another throughout the movements, and while I gave my explanations, another member of the group added supplementary details about the things that could be seen. It was a real learning experience for me as well, discovering how to explain things in a way that works for someone who cannot see. We visited Fushimi Inari and Kiyomizu-dera, and finally parted ways around the Nene-no-Michi area.

A notable stop on the tour was Fushimi Inari Shrine. Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates that form winding pathways up the sacred Mount Inari. Dedicated to Inari, the Shinto deity of rice and prosperity, the shrine has been a place of worship for centuries and remains one of Kyoto's most iconic destinations. Visitors can walk through the tunnels of torii gates, each donated by individuals or businesses, and enjoy the atmospheric trails that wind through the forested mountainside.
