Title: What Is a Private Tokyo Tour Like When Guests Focus on Food and Photography? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting Japan. There had been a good deal of communication beforehand, and after reporting on the places they had explored on their own the previous day, they even sent me the itinerary results they had asked ChatGPT to generate. Based on all of this, I put together the plan for the day. One of the guests was an avid social media user and took a great many photos and videos, often re-recording the same video several times until it came out just right. This person bought no souvenirs at all and simply focused on taking pictures. The others in the group seemed to have come more for the food than for sightseeing, and talked about meals throughout the day. Their tastes differed within the group, with one preferring plant-based dishes while the others were keen to enjoy hearty meat dishes, so I balanced the day around both interests.

A notable stop on the tour was Asakusa. Asakusa is one of Tokyo's most historic districts and is home to Senso-ji, the city's oldest Buddhist temple, founded in the 7th century. Visitors approach the temple through the Kaminarimon, or "Thunder Gate," with its iconic giant red lantern, and then walk along Nakamise-dori, a shopping street lined with stalls selling traditional snacks and crafts. The area is a popular spot both for experiencing old Tokyo atmosphere and for sampling a wide variety of Japanese street food.

I’m Ryoichi Kazuma and my nickname is “Kazz”. I live in Kyotanabe city next to Kyoto city. I want guests to enjoy Kyoto by seeing and experiencing not only from outside but also from inside. I offer various information from daily matters to traditional cultures. Most destinations in Kyoto are located on the eastern side or the western side. As I want to guide guests to as many destinations as possible, I make an efficient itinerary and recommend a taxi use to save time. Additionally, I take pictures at various spots and finally share the link to my storage. By doing so, guests can download their favorite pictures from my storage. Please enjoy Kyoto night and day!
