What's a Private Day Tour of Kyoto Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Arashiyama and Nijo Castle

The guests were a group visiting from North America. I had heard some requested destinations in advance, but it turned out these were not the wishes of the whole group, so we decided to first go to Arashiyama and choose the rest along the way. While having a light meal in Arashiyama, I explained the next possible destinations and their access, and we decided on Nijo Castle, which was on the way back to the Hotel. Some of the guests were in high spirits, taking photos everywhere, while others seemed a bit tired. On this day the temperature in Kyoto reached 30 degrees and the sunshine was strong, so after discussing among themselves, the guests decided to return to the Hotel to rest and set out again in the evening. It was a warm, close group, and everyone seemed happy simply to be together. I accompanied them back to the Hotel and said goodbye.
