Title: What Is a Private One-Day Kyoto Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report from Japan Guide Agency

The guests were visitors from North America. The itinerary was as follows: Hotel → Fushimi Inari → Sanjusangendo → Nijo Castle → lunch (a restaurant) → Kinkaku-ji → Shimogamo Shrine → Hotel. The guests kept a fast pace when walking and sightseeing, so in the end we finished with more than 40 minutes to spare, but since they mentioned that they were still tired from the previous day (Monkey Park and the bamboo grove in Arashiyama), we ended a little early. There were no particularly striking moments at each sightseeing spot, but along the way we enjoyed a wide range of topics of conversation. For example, we talked about comparisons between different regions, views on life among younger generations, careers and having children, supply and demand in the labor market of a certain industry, working in the office versus working from home, Elon Musk, the situation surrounding electric vehicles, the presidential election, and their child who is a university student. The conversation mostly consisted of the guide asking questions and the guests answering, but they shared a great deal with me. For lunch, at their request for yakiniku, we went to a grilled meat restaurant, and they were very satisfied.
