What Is a Private One-Day Kyoto Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu-dera, and Kinkaku-ji
The guests were a group visiting from North America. Breakfast took some time, so the departure was delayed by about 20 minutes. At Fushimi Inari, one of the guests drew an omikuji fortune, while another purchased a torii-shaped ema plaque as a souvenir. At Kiyomizu-dera, some of the guests enjoyed shaved ice at a tea house within the temple grounds. Along the approach, the guests enjoyed shopping, stopping at a pottery shop, a shop with small accessories, and a store selling konnyaku soap. Since breakfast had been late, we skipped lunch and finished at Kinkaku-ji. The grounds were relatively uncrowded, so it did not take much time to take photos. There were pots of lotus, and the lotus flowers were beautiful. On the taxi ride back, I provided information such as recommendations for dinner spots.
