- 13:15 Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine
- 14:30 Disband at Kyoto Station
Title: What's a Private Kyoto Day Tour Like with a Licensed Guide? A Report Featuring Arashiyama and Fushimi Inari
Body: Today's private tour in Kyoto was for a group visiting from Oceania. Since the itinerary needed to be relaxed and easy-paced, we avoided the Arashiyama bamboo grove and instead visited quieter spots such as Adashino Nenbutsu-ji and Otagi Nenbutsu-ji temples. Some late-blooming cherry blossoms were still in flower, so the group was able to enjoy them at a leisurely pace. Perhaps because it was a little chilly today, Yasaka Pagoda and Fushimi Inari Taisha were not very crowded, which made it pleasant to look around slowly. For lunch, we went to Hinoya near Fushimi Inari Taisha. As the group enjoyed inari sushi and preferred a comfortable place to sit, the tatami seating worked out well. I believe the guests had a wonderful time.

We spent half a day with Kaeko Tanigawa taking us to Daitoku-ji and Kinkaku-ji temples and Nijo castle in Kyoto. She is very nice, customer-oriented and knowledgeable about Japanese culture and history.

Kaeko Tanigawa was fantastic at helping us create a tour that worked for our family with two young children. It was a very hot day, but the air conditioned van was perfect. We loved making ramen together, feeding monkeys, and seeing a few top sites of Kyoto.

Kyoto Private Tour
Kaeko was absolutely amazing from start to finish, and my husband and I had the best time with her during our honeymoon in Kyoto in April! She reached out well before our trip to get to know our interests and carefully planned an itinerary that was perfectly tailored to us—even helping us choose the perfect lunch spot.
