Title: What's a Private Kyoto Day Tour with the Sagano Romantic Train Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from North America. The weather forecast had predicted rain all day, but it did not rain at all, not just in the morning but throughout the entire day, which was very lucky.

For the Sagano Romantic Train (Torokko train), we were only able to reserve a set of four seats on the same side for both the outbound and return journeys. On the return trip, the seats next to where I was sitting alone were cancelled, opening up two seats, so I was able to seat some of the guests there. As a result, they were able to enjoy the scenery from both sides of the train on the outbound and return journeys, allowing them to fully appreciate the views from the Torokko train.

The driver, Mr. Hamaya, is also a guide himself and gave us very valuable advice. In particular, I was very grateful for the insights of this veteran driver and guide, such as where to stop in the bamboo grove in the morning and where a vehicle can get closest near Fushimi Inari.

Regarding photos, permission was given for publication on the condition that only the adults be shown.
