**Title:** What's a Private One-Day Kyoto Tour Like for Visitors from Europe? A Licensed Guide's Report

**Body:**

The guests were visitors from Europe who came to Kyoto after traveling through Tokyo, Hakone, and Osaka. They had expected Japan's weather in September to be cooler, but were a little worn out by the unfortunately intense heat. At Fushimi Inari, we discussed the differences between Shinto and Buddhism, as well as nature worship. They mentioned that there is also a tradition of nature worship dating back to the Viking era in their home region, and that some people still practice it. At Nijo Castle, they seemed interested in the historical background leading to the return of political power to the Emperor at the end of the shogunate era. They were also impressed by the fusuma paintings and transom carvings of the Ninomaru Palace, as well as the Japanese garden. At Sanjusangendo, they marveled at the powerful presence of the 1,001 Buddhist statues and the 28 guardian deities. Finally, we parted ways at Nishiki Market.

Hello, This is Shige. I was born and brought up in Osaka. I have been enjoying working as a tour guide since 2016 after retired from a manufacturing company in which I worked at the overseas department. So I experienced a lot of business with customers in Europe, Asia, Australia, and USA where my three years of living and working at the subsidiary company with my family was the most amazing experience of my life. Well, Japan has a long history including ancient remains, historic buildings and cultures at each period over 2000 years. I hope you will enjoy exploring Japan in this tour. I look forward to seeing you soon.
Shige.
