Tour Itinerary in Detail
The tour started at 9:00 at OMO5 Kyoto Sanjo and ended at 13:15. The day ran to 4 hours and 15 minutes from start to finish.

The guests were visiting from Europe on their first trip to Japan, having traveled from Tokyo, Kanazawa, and Takayama before arriving in Kyoto the previous day.
At Nijo Castle, the guests were deeply impressed by the Karamon Gate, the wall paintings of the Ninomaru Palace, the carvings of the transoms, the scene of the return of political power to the Emperor in the Grand Hall, and the Shogun's Shiroshoin study. We also discussed at length the history of the Tokugawa shoguns and their relationship with the Emperor. In the garden, the guests were moved and took many photographs.
At Fushimi Inari Shrine, although it was extremely crowded with tourists, the guests were impressed by the history, the fox statues, and especially the vermilion torii gates, and took many photographs.
At Sanjusangendo, the guests were impressed by the history, the 1,001 Buddhist statues, and the statues of the 28 guardian deities.
Afterward, I saw the guests off at Gion-Shijo, and the tour came to an end.
