What Is a Private Kyoto Day Tour from a Cruise Ship in Osaka Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests visited Japan for the first time from Europe as part of a cruise voyage, arriving at Kyoto Station by Shinkansen from Osaka Port, where the tour began. At Fushimi Inari, the weather was fine, and the guests marveled at the beautiful scenery of the vermilion main hall and torii gates against the backdrop of Mount Inari, taking many photographs. At Shoren-in Monzeki, with few other visitors, the guests enjoyed a sense of tranquility while viewing the garden in the quiet surroundings, repeatedly saying "peaceful" and taking photographs. At Chion-in, the guests were amazed by the massive wooden architecture of the main gate and the Miedo hall. We then walked through Maruyama Park and Gion, and parted ways at Kyoto Station.

We had a wonderful tour around Osaka. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information about the places we visited. He was also very friendly and approachable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The length of the tour was just right for us—especially on such a hot day—and we still managed to find time to take some great photos.
