Title: What Is a Private Kyoto Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Nijo Castle and Arashiyama

Today I guided a group visiting Japan from North America. They had already traveled around Tokyo and the Mount Fuji area before coming to Kyoto. They had done thorough research and had purchased tickets for Nijo Castle online in advance. There were many school trip students, so it was quite crowded. Afterwards we moved to Arashiyama, and perhaps because it was around lunchtime, the bamboo grove was not too crowded, which was wonderful. The guests had decided to come to Japan out of a strong interest in the country. They were very fond of Japanese cuisine.
