Over the course of the day the route took in Kinkakuji Temple at 9:35, Ryoanji Temple at 10:40, Myoshinji Taizo-in at 11:20, Bamboo Grove Walk – Tenryuji Temple Garden at 12:15 and Take you to Nishio Yatsuhashi no Sato and disband at 13:15.
What Is a Private Kyoto Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visiting from Europe. They toured Tokyo and Hakone, and were also planning to extend their trip to Naoshima afterward. Kinkaku-ji Temple was quite crowded, but the other spots were not so busy, which was very pleasant. In particular, Taizo-in had hardly anyone else around, so they were able to relax and fully enjoy the beautiful Japanese garden. Although it was not part of the original plan, since we had come as far as Arashiyama, they also enjoyed a stroll from the bamboo grove to the Tenryu-ji garden. Finally, I took them to a lunch spot, and the tour concluded. I believe they enjoyed themselves.

We spent half a day with Kaeko Tanigawa taking us to Daitoku-ji and Kinkaku-ji temples and Nijo castle in Kyoto. She is very nice, customer-oriented and knowledgeable about Japanese culture and history.

Kaeko Tanigawa was fantastic at helping us create a tour that worked for our family with two young children. It was a very hot day, but the air conditioned van was perfect. We loved making ramen together, feeding monkeys, and seeing a few top sites of Kyoto.

Kyoto Private Tour
Kaeko was absolutely amazing from start to finish, and my husband and I had the best time with her during our honeymoon in Kyoto in April! She reached out well before our trip to get to know our interests and carefully planned an itinerary that was perfectly tailored to us—even helping us choose the perfect lunch spot.
