What Is a Private Kyoto Tour of Arashiyama Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were on their first trip to Japan, visiting from Europe. When we met on the day, we discovered that the name of the hotel listed as the meeting point at the time of the guide booking was incorrect, so we had to relocate quickly and managed to meet successfully with a 15-minute delay. At the guests' request, we traveled from the hotel to Arashiyama by taxi. The weather was mild, and along the way the guests were moved by the elegance of the cherry blossoms and rapeseed flowers along the Katsura River and around the Togetsukyo Bridge. They mentioned that sightseeing in Tokyo had been very crowded and hectic, so at the especially quiet Hogon-in Temple and at the beautiful Japanese garden of Okochi Sanso Villa, they felt a sense of calm and were deeply moved by the flowers and the chirping of spring birds.

We had a wonderful tour around Osaka. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information about the places we visited. He was also very friendly and approachable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The length of the tour was just right for us—especially on such a hot day—and we still managed to find time to take some great photos.
