What's an 8-Hour Private Kimono Tour of Kyoto Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were visitors from Europe.
Based on prior email communication, they wanted to start the tour after putting on rental kimono, so we met at a kimono rental shop.
I had let them know in advance that sandals might make walking difficult, so they wore shoes instead.
Since they were not used to wearing kimono and the weather was hot, we proceeded with the 8-hour tour while taking frequent rests.
They seemed to be looking forward to exploring Kyoto in kimono, so we took many photos at each location.
Toward the end of the tour they appeared tired, but I believe they were satisfied.

The communication was very good. It began prior to the trip with emails from our guide,
Kuni. We worked on the best itinerary for our day tour to Kyoto, both Kuni and our driver were
very efficient, organized and personable. My family had a great experience.

Kuni was amazing as our private tour guide! Before the tour, he reached out to ask about the specific itinerary we wanted to do. He took into consideration all of our thoughts. The tour was amazing. He was very informative and it was very special to see all of the sites. Would recommend highly!
