Title: What Is a Private Day Tour of Kobe Like from the Port Terminal? A Licensed Guide's Report

Today's guests were visitors from North America on their first trip to Japan. We met at the Kobe Port Terminal, then visited the Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum, the Kobe Nunobiki Herb Garden, and Ikuta Shrine, before returning to the Port Terminal to conclude the tour. The weather was pleasant today, though it felt a little warm. At the guests' request we visited the Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum, but the guests did not seem to have a strong interest in sake. The flowers at the Herb Garden were beautiful, though the distant scenery looked slightly hazy, so conditions were not perfect. Nevertheless, the guests enjoyed the tour at all of the sightseeing spots, including Ikuta Shrine. A notable stop on the tour was Ikuta Shrine. Ikuta Shrine is one of the oldest shrines in Japan and is said to have been founded over 1,800 years ago, making it a significant part of Kobe's history and culture. It is dedicated to the deity Wakahirume-no-Mikoto and has long been associated with blessings for love and relationships. Located in the heart of Kobe, the shrine offers visitors a peaceful atmosphere amid the surrounding city, and its vermilion buildings and surrounding grounds make it a popular and accessible cultural stop for those exploring the area.
