Tour Itinerary
- AM 11:00 Tour starts from the hotel
- Travel on foot to Oyama Shrine
- AM 11:15-PM 12:30 From Oyama Shrine to Gyokusen-in Garden, visit Kanazawa Castle Park
- PM 12:30-14:00 Visit Kenrokuen Garden, matcha experience at Shigure-tei (13:15-13:45)
- Travel by bus to Omicho Market
- PM 14:20-15:00 Lunch at Omicho Market
- Travel on foot to Kazuemachi and Higashi Chaya District
- PM 15:15-16:00 Stroll through Kazuemachi and Higashi Chaya District (visit Shima, sake tasting)
- Travel by bus to Korinbo
- PM 16:30-17:00 Guide through the Nagamachi Samurai District area, then walk to the hotel to end the tour.

本文欄： This was a private tour for guests visiting from Europe. The theme was food culture and tea culture, but before the tour began, the guests requested to see Kanazawa Castle Park, so with their agreement we adjusted the planned route slightly before starting. After visiting Kanazawa Castle Park and enjoying a matcha experience at Kenrokuen Garden, we went to Omicho Market. Since one of the guests followed a vegetarian diet, while the other enjoyed grilled seafood such as squid and scallops, I guided them to a fruit shop where suitable items could be found, which took a little extra effort. After that, at the Higashi Chaya District, the guests also enjoyed a sake tasting and had a wonderful time. A notable stop on the tour was Kenrokuen Garden, one of the three most celebrated landscape gardens in Japan. Developed over nearly two centuries by the ruling Maeda clan, Kenrokuen is renowned for its seasonal beauty, featuring winding streams, stone lanterns, teahouses, and carefully arranged trees. The garden's name means "Garden of the Six Sublimities," referring to the six attributes considered essential to a perfect garden: spaciousness, seclusion, artifice, antiquity, water, and panoramic views.

Yoshi is an exceptional guide where he took us to the best market stalls at the fish market where every food we indulged in (including the sea snails and eel liver) were superb. The walking tour of the tea houses (Geisha district) and knowledge of the history of both the precinct and greater Japan was first class. Yoshi is also a kind and caring person and made conversation very easy, including when we wanted to dig into the country’s cultural values and lifestyle

YOSHI met us at our hotel and was very friendly and helpful. We walked around the city and he took us to view several different spots including samurai living quarters, geisha houses, the beautiful garden built by Maeda san. Yoshi was knowledgeable about the entire city and it’s treasured history. He inspired me to do some reading on Maeda san, a leader who played a huge part in the development of the city. Yoshi was an excellent guide, and even provided a LOT of recommendations and useful information for after our tour. We would definitely recommend YOSHI san! Note: you will need a IC card to board some of the city buses.

We had a fab tour with Yoshi our guide, we visited the tea district then the gardens and castle which were my favourite. Yoshi was very informative , explaining the history and mechanisms of the castle was built and the water system. He was also very helpful with explaining the bus service.
