What Is a Private One-Day Kamakura Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a group from North America, visiting Japan for the second time. They mentioned that after sightseeing in Tokyo, they planned to visit Kyoto and Osaka. At Meigetsuin, they seemed deeply impressed by the beautiful hydrangeas in full bloom. At Hasedera, they enjoyed the enormous Kannon statue and the view of Sagami Bay from the observation deck. At Hokokuji, they seemed impressed by the beautiful bamboo grove. At Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, they listened with great interest to explanations about the difference between shrines and temples and about the Kamakura shogunate. On Komachi Street, they showed interest in many shops and purchased a parasol. Since I accommodated the guests' requests as they wished, I believe they were satisfied.
Note that this was a tour with a vehicle provided, so there were no advance transportation expenses to be reimbursed to the guide.

I am Seizo Kamiuto, National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter (English). Seizo Kaminto is een uitstekende gids. De metro van Tokio is een doolhof en zonder hem zou ik een hoop tijd verloren hebben, we bezochten de highlights en Seizo wist overal wat te vertellen. Het tempo lag wel hoog en het was warm maar Seizo wist ook waar we een frisse pint konden drinken. Kortom ik ben zeer tevreden.

Seizo Kamintoさんは素晴らしいガイドです。東京の地下鉄は迷路のようですが、彼がいなければ多くの時間を無駄にしていたと思います。私たちは見どころを巡り、Seizoさんはどこでもいろいろと説明してくれました。ペースはやや速く、暑さもありましたが、Seizoさんは冷たいビールを飲める場所も知っていました。
