Tour Itinerary in Detail
The tour started at 9:00 at Hotel & Towers and ended at 15:30. The day ran to 6 hours and 30 minutes from start to finish. It included lunch @ Kamakura Gozan Bekkan at 12:50.

What Is a Private Kamakura Cherry Blossom Tour Like in Spring? A Licensed Guide's Report
The weather was wonderful, the cherry blossoms were in bloom, and the guests were able to fully enjoy spring in Kamakura. The walk from the bus stop to Zuisenji Temple was quite long, but the guests showed little sign of fatigue and walked the whole way. The return walk was similarly quite long. At Zuisenji Temple, the guests enjoyed the cherry blossoms and other flowers as well as the fresh greenery. They also took many photographs. At Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, there were many visitors enjoying the cherry blossoms, and I provided historical explanations. At Kenchoji Temple, the guests also admired the cherry blossoms. We went all the way to the observation point at the far end, but it was a hazy day, so we were unable to see Mount Fuji. After having a meal in front of the gate of Kenchoji Temple, we boarded a bus from Kamakura Station, but it was extremely crowded, and during that time my wallet was pickpocketed. I noticed this at Kotokuin and contacted my home and others, so I kept the guests waiting for a short while. They waited without becoming displeased in any way. At the Great Buddha, the weather was fine, and the guests were delighted to be able to go inside. As I needed to report the incident to the police, I excused myself, guided the guests to the platform for the train they would take at Kamakura Station, and the tour came to an end.

Allow me to introduce myself. I am a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter of Japan and an expert in Japanese history and culture, and also in nursing and health. I usually work as a Public Health Nurse (PHN) at a Public Health Center in Tokyo, and I hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Additionally, I have a Ph.D. in medical science.
Born in 1957 and raised in Tokyo, I have worked for 33 years mainly in the research and development area for some pharmaceutical companies. Then, I changed my career to nursing and entered a university to obtain a PHN and RN license. I took the Licensed Guide for preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and volunteered in the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2021.
