What Is a Private Sakurajima and Kagoshima Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
I was a little worried that the group might get tired in the crowds and intense summer heat during the Obon period, but the guests stayed energetic and enjoyed the day very much. At Sakurajima, they were amazed by the power of the volcanic eruptions and by the fact that more than 3,000 people live there, and they were delighted to try a foot bath for the first time. When Mount Kaimon came into view from the observation deck, I told them it is said to be the most beautiful conical volcano in Japan, and they enthusiastically took photos. The guests loved the restaurant interior and the steamed black pork dish at lunch, telling me it was "the best lunch of this cruise tour."
