What Is a Private Hiroshima Walking Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

Communication with the guests was smooth from our very first contact by email, and meeting up was completely without issue.

Because of concerns about walking distances at each site, at Shukkeien Garden we took our time going around the left half of the walking route, and at Hiroshima Castle the guests were unfortunately able to see only the lower floors. Neither facility is barrier-free (there are no elevators), and there is no air conditioning inside the castle, so the guests may have found it a little tiring. We switched to a taxi to reach the museum, and along with the park, the guests viewed everything with great interest.

The guests had a strong interest in history and the traces of the war, and it made for a very rewarding experience as a guide. At the end, I received a tip from the guests. I am reporting this just to be safe.
