What Is a Private Hiroshima and Miyajima Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were very warm and pleasant throughout the tour, which was a trip to Japan celebrating a graduation. We had lunch at a restaurant offering an allergy-friendly menu, and everything went smoothly and was greatly appreciated. On Miyajima, one of the guests loved the lemon soda so much that they ordered another. At the Peace Memorial Park, the guests were moved to tears. At the Atomic Bomb Museum, they viewed the exhibits with great attention, reading through all of the explanatory text. They shared with me that it had been a wonderful tour.

We did a 6h tour with Yuko. She was great! We requested to start our tour with a quick breakfast and coffee, which was delicious. She initially gave us a suggested itinerary, which she was happy to adjust based on our request to see some gardens and natural areas. I would highly recommend Yuko and would tour with her again the next time we visit Japan!

We had a fabulous day in Hiroshima with Yuko. She was a wonderful tour guide, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about touring her city. She knew so much about the bombing of Hiroshima and its aftermath. We had so many questions and she was able to answer all of them. At the end of our tour she showed us how to make origami cranes, which we left in memory of children who lost their lives in the bombing. She also took us for a delicious Hiroshima style okonomiaki lunch. Our day in this beautiful city with Yuko was definitely one of the highlights of our visit to Japan.
