Title: What's a Private Hiroshima and Miyajima Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests were a group visiting from Europe. As requested in advance, they placed the highest priority on the Peace Memorial Park and the museum, and they viewed the exhibits inside the museum very attentively. It was striking to see how deeply one of the younger members of the group seemed to be affected. They responded very well to the explanations of each monument in the park and asked many questions. After traveling by streetcar, we had lunch near Miyajimaguchi to avoid the crowds. As it was in the middle of a holiday period, everywhere was very crowded. This was a distinctive group in which each member moved around freely, so they ate lunch separately and even got separated from one another while walking around Miyajima, checking in by phone. This made things a bit challenging, but it was also a little unusual and interesting. Considering the bullet train back to Osaka, we parted ways a bit early, but at the end I received words of gratitude as we said goodbye. A notable stop on the tour was the Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima. The park is dedicated to the memory of the atomic bombing of 1945 and promotes a message of lasting peace. Within the park stands the Atomic Bomb Dome, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with numerous monuments and the Peace Memorial Museum, which preserves records and belongings that convey the events and their aftermath to visitors from around the world.

Hello! I’m Ryosuke—please call me Leo.
I’d love to help you create great memories in Japan, especially around Tokyo and my hometown, Hiroshima.

I once traveled 44,000 km by bicycle across four continents (every continent except Australia!). There’s a chance I might even have passed through your hometown. Through that journey, I learned not only how wonderful travel can be, but also the things travelers should watch out for.

With that experience, I’m sure I can help make your trip smoother and more enjoyable.
Let’s have a great time exploring Japan together!
