The guests were a group visiting from North America, who came to Hiroshima on a day trip from Kyoto. Thanks to the very kind group, it turned out to be a wonderful day. During the travel time, we were able to talk about many topics, including differences in education and customs. At Miyajima, it was low tide, so we were able to walk close to the Great Torii Gate and take many photographs. For lunch, I took the group to a local okonomiyaki restaurant, which they really enjoyed. At the Peace Memorial Park and the museum, the guests engaged sincerely and asked many questions. A notable stop on the tour was the Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima. The park was established to commemorate the victims of the atomic bombing in 1945 and serves as a place dedicated to the hope for lasting world peace. It is home to the iconic Atomic Bomb Dome, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the Peace Memorial Museum, which conveys the realities of the bombing through exhibits and personal accounts. Many visitors find the site deeply moving and reflective.

Powerful day of one of the worst tragedies of our world. Important to visit and reminds us that peace is so important.
Lisa was an excellent tour guide, patient and kind, very informative, we traveled some mass transit and she really helped us navigate as visitors.
I appreciate her understanding of culture and temple etiquette. She was personable and made the day exceptional.

Hiroshima private tour
Lisa Y. Did an amazing job. We had good communication prior to trip and she customized the tour to fit our interests. The day of she provided a detailed and thorough tour! The food recommendations were great as well. Lunch was amazing and we even stopped for drinks and some amazing maple leaf pancakes.

We had a fantastic day with our local guide Lisa. The tour was well thought out and all transfers and destinations were smooth and enjoyable. Lisa gave us an amazing experience and we would highly recommend this tour to have a full overview of Hiroshima. We enjoyed beautiful fresh oysters and Okonomiyaki in a local setting.
