- Departed the hotel at 8:55. Assisted with exchanging money to Japanese yen and purchasing JR tickets, as arrived in Japan last night. Arrived at Miyajimaguchi at 10:00. 10:40 Itsukushima Shrine, 11:10 Tahoto Pagoda, 11:30 Omoto Park/Omoto Shrine, 11:50 lunch, 14:20 Peace Memorial Park, 15:00 Rest House, 15:45 Peace Memorial Museum, 16:20 Hypocenter, 16:55 Hiroshima Station
Title: What Is a Private Hiroshima and Miyajima Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests arrived in Hiroshima directly from North America at around 22:30 the night before and checked into their hotel, and because they were tired, at their request the tour started 30 minutes later than planned. They did not have any Japanese yen, and unlike guests coming from Tokyo they did not have an IC card such as Suica, so I provided support with money-related matters throughout the day. The guests were very cheerful and full of curiosity. They asked many questions, and we shared a lot of enjoyable conversations. They were able to try freshly made momiji manju, and at Miyajima they were delighted by the quiet paths and the sounds of the birds. At the Peace Memorial Park, I carefully answered all of their many questions.
