What Is a Private Day Trip from Osaka to Hiroshima and Miyajima Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a family from North America, and they were bright and very pleasant to be with. They visited Hiroshima as a day trip from Osaka. At Peace Memorial Park, they listened intently to the story of the atomic bombing and asked many questions. On Miyajima, at a chopstick shop, each member of the group chose their favorite chopsticks and had their names engraved on them, and they were very happy, saying it made a wonderful souvenir. The lemon drink was also well received.
During the Miyajima sightseeing, the group responded even more enthusiastically to Daishoin Temple than to Itsukushima Shrine. When I told them that Miyajima also has hot springs, they said they would love to come back and stay overnight next time.
