Title: What Can You See on a Private Hiroshima and Miyajima Tour from the Cruise Port? A Licensed Guide's Report

The cruise ship arrived at Ujina Port, exactly as indicated on the Hiroshima Port website. As planned, I met the guests at the terminal building, and we took a taxi to the front of the Atomic Bomb Dome. I guided the group through Peace Memorial Park, and during my explanation in front of the Children's Peace Monument, one of the guests was moved to tears. At the museum, the guests read the individual accounts of the atomic bomb survivors with great attention, and I believe they spent a meaningful time there. At the group's request, we visited the Pokémon Center attached to Hiroshima Station, which they were delighted by. In Miyajima, we visited Itsukushima Shrine, Senjokaku, and others, and had okonomiyaki for lunch. Since the Kangensai Festival was being held that evening, we were also able to see the boats being prepared.
