- 9:00 Arrival at port (Ujina International Trade Pier Berth No. 5)
- 9:30 Meet, transfer to Hiroshima Port by taxi
- 10:25-10:57 Transfer to Miyajima by Setouchi Sea Line (high-speed boat)
- 11:00-12:00 Lunch, Japanese cuisine, Yamaichi Bekkan
- 12:00-14:30 Miyajima sightseeing (Great Torii Gate, Itsukushima Shrine, etc.)
- 14:45-15:30 Transfer to Peace Park by World Heritage Sea Route (high-speed boat)
- 15:30-16:30 Museum
- 16:30-16:45 To Ujina by taxi and on foot
Title: What Is a Private Day Tour of Miyajima and Hiroshima Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
Since rain was forecast, we visited Miyajima in the morning. The guests had been looking forward to Japanese food very much, so I took them to a local restaurant, where they said they were very satisfied that it was delicious and much cheaper than in places like Tokyo. I helped them have their names engraved on chopsticks, which they were very happy about. They also tried freshly baked momiji manju and were pleased. In the afternoon, the rain became heavier, so I guided them only through the museum and then accompanied them by taxi to the cruise ship. The guests were very cheerful, and there was plenty of laughter throughout the tour.

Itsukushima Shrine, famous for its red torii gate floating in the sea, is located on a picturesque island. It’s a place where you can enjoy a truly relaxing and serene time.

Moving experience with amazing guide Kyoko. Kyoko met us at the cruise terminal and took us to the Peace Museum, Dome, and Peace Park. We then went to Mijama Island and back to cruise port. We were a group of four senior citizens and Kyoko was so kind and caring and made sure we made it back to the port safely. Kyoko was very informative and taught us so much about Japan. We even had a picnic (Hamani) under the cherry blossom trees with Kyoko. We had a very memorable day in Hiroshima which has left lasting impressions on us.
We would highly recommend this tour and our amazing guide Kyoko.
