- 11:00 Meet at Hiroshima Station Shinkansen ticket gate exit
- At the guest's request, issued reserved seat Shinkansen tickets for the Osaka-Kyoto route the next day at the JR Midori no Madoguchi
- 11:30-11:57 JR Sanyo Main Line, travel from Hiroshima to Miyajimaguchi
- On the train, confirmed the Itinerary. Provided guidance about Miyajima and Itsukushima Shrine
- 12:25-11:35 Boarded JR Ferry. To Miyajima
- 12:50-13:40 Okonomiyaki lunch at "Momo-chan"
- Strolled through the shopping street.
- Went to the hospitality restroom.
- Moved to Itsukushima Shrine
- 14:10-1430 Visited Itsukushima Shrine
- 14:50-15:10 Visited Daisho-in Temple
- 15:30-15:50 Tasted grilled oysters at "Hayashi".
- 16:25-16:35 Boarded JR Ferry to Miyajimaguchi
- Restroom break
- 17:01-17:19 JR Sanyo Main Line, travel from Miyajimaguchi to Nishi-Hiroshima Station
- 17:28-17:46 Hiroden tram, travel from Nishi-Hiroshima Station to Atomic Bomb Dome
- 17:48-18:15 Atomic Bomb Dome → Aioi Bridge → Cenotaph, walking tour while guiding
- 18:15-19:00 Entered Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum
- 19:07-19:20 City bus, from in front of the museum to Hiroshima Station
- 19:30 Saw off the guests at JR Hiroshima Station Shinkansen entrance. End of duties.

The guests came from Asia and took a day trip from Shin-Osaka to Hiroshima. They were curious about everything, saying that they had enjoyed takoyaki in Osaka, and they seemed to love Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki as well. At lunch they also enjoyed Kamotsuru sake. One of the guests tried oysters for the very first time in their life. I think it became a wonderful memory for them.
One of the guests enjoyed photography as a hobby and had fun taking pictures here and there on Miyajima. I heard that the first camera they ever bought was Japanese-made, purchased for the equivalent of two months' salary. They had continued to favor Japanese cameras and film for a long time afterward, though these days they were using the camera on an iPhone. The guests were involved in the medical field, and our conversation covered many topics, including Japan's education system, social insurance, and long-term care insurance.
One point of reflection is that we spent too much time on Miyajima, which left less time for the Peace Memorial Park and the museum. Based on my past experience, I had planned about 45 minutes for the museum visit, but one of the guests told me, "That was nowhere near enough time." I had gathered information that many people from that region have a strong interest in the atomic bomb and nuclear issues, and that proved to be true. However, since the museum entry was during a reserved time slot, it was not crowded, and the guests were able to read the English explanations slowly and up close, which was a good thing.
One of the guests was not in good condition with their knee, so I made sure to avoid going up and down stairs as much as possible. Among the JR stations, Nishi-Hiroshima Station has an escalator, so I would recommend it as a transfer station for guests in such situations.

Yoshiko exceeded our every expectation on this tour. Starting from the amount of time she took going through multiple iterations of our itinerary to make sure it was perfect, and then hand guiding us through travel arrangements when we were there, she went above and beyond. Her knowledge gave us additional perspective that we never would have had on our own, and her persistence coming up with a perfect plan allowed us to experience everything we wanted to do in Hiroshima even with a time crunch. To top it all off, she was extremely friendly and personable, and a joy to be around. I would highly recommend her to anyone going to Hiroshima.
