- 6. 15:30 原爆ドーム、慰霊碑、資料館を見学
- 7. 15:45 白神社の前で解散
**Title:** What's a Private One-Day Hiroshima City Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

The guests emailed two days in advance to say that they would visit Miyajima on their own, and asked me to guide them around the city instead. Around 10:00 the night before, they also sent a message saying they had changed to a different hotel and asked whether I could pick them up at 9:00 a.m. I replied around 10:40 p.m. that it would be fine, but kindly asked them to inform me of any hotel change a few days in advance. I quickly checked the bus schedule and found that buses ran every 30 minutes.
It rained heavily during the tour, but the guests were delighted by the beauty of the hydrangeas and irises at Shukkeien Garden. They found the keep of Hiroshima Castle beautiful against the greenery, and were interested in the dramatic changes brought about by the Meiji Restoration. At the Atomic Bomb Dome, they were interested in the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima and the effects of radiation, and they observed the exhibits at the museum with great attention. It was unfortunate, however, that the heavy rain made it difficult to give explanations while showing photographs.

Hiroshima Tour with Yoshi
Yoshi was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond—meeting us at the station and making everything feel effortless and perfectly organized.
She is incredibly knowledgeable, especially about Hiroshima’s history. What made the experience even more special is that her perspective comes from someone who was born and raised there. Hearing the stories, details, and context directly from her added a level of depth and authenticity that you simply cannot get otherwise.
Beyond her knowledge, Yoshi is just a beautiful human being—kind, warm, and genuinely caring. Spending the day with her felt like a hug to the heart. She made us feel comfortable, cared for, and fully present in such a meaningful place.
She guided us through every site with perfect timing and intention, making sure we experienced everything without ever feeling rushed.
If you are visiting Hiroshima, I cannot recommend Yoshi enough. Seeing the city through her eyes is something truly unforgettable.
