What Is a Private Miyajima and Peace Park Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

I guided a group visiting from North America.

They listened carefully and patiently to my guiding, which allowed us to communicate smoothly throughout the day.

At Miyajima, I happened to run into an acquaintance who lives on the island. Since that person had also previously worked in education, the guests enjoyed conversing with a local resident.

They listened attentively to my explanations and personal anecdotes, and on the train and during lunch we exchanged views on more in-depth topics, such as current American politics and how atomic bomb survivors feel toward the country.

Since they had strolled through the Peace Park the previous day, on this day we spent most of our time at the memorial museum.
