Tour Itinerary
- 1. 7:30 Meet the clients at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn Hiroshima
- 2. 7:30~8:50 From their hotel to Hiroshima station to Miyajima Island by train and ferry
- 3. 8:50~10:35 Visit the Torii Gates and the Shrine, the Five-storied Pagoda and Senjo-Kaku
- 4.10:40~11:30 Return to Hiroshima station by ferry and train
- 5. 11:45~12:05 Visit the Museum by JR bus
- 6. 12:10~13:30 In the Museum and have lunch at the nearest Restaurant Mozart
- 7. 13:30~14:40 Peace Park Tour including the A-bomb Dome and said goodbye in front of the
- Hondori Shopping Street
Title: What Is a Private Miyajima and Hiroshima Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests came to Japan from Europe. One of them was not very comfortable speaking English. Since they had visited Paris before, the conversation turned to a comparison between French cuisine and Japanese cuisine, and with everyone joining in, we arrived at Miyajima before we knew it. At Miyajima, I explained Shinto and Buddhism, and one of the guests translated into French. At the museum, the moment they stepped inside, one of the guests listened to the explanation with tears in their eyes. They went into the main building on their own, but said it was very crowded and they had only glanced quickly, returning after about 15 minutes. Thinking that the English explanation might have been difficult to follow, I explained "how the atomic bomb was developed and why Hiroshima was chosen as a target." One of the guests translated skillfully into French, saying, "I did not know the atomic bomb was a test." They listened attentively, remarking that while the temperature back home was 16°C, it was now 34°C in Hiroshima.

Hiroshima Tour with Yoshi
Yoshi was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond—meeting us at the station and making everything feel effortless and perfectly organized.
She is incredibly knowledgeable, especially about Hiroshima’s history. What made the experience even more special is that her perspective comes from someone who was born and raised there. Hearing the stories, details, and context directly from her added a level of depth and authenticity that you simply cannot get otherwise.
Beyond her knowledge, Yoshi is just a beautiful human being—kind, warm, and genuinely caring. Spending the day with her felt like a hug to the heart. She made us feel comfortable, cared for, and fully present in such a meaningful place.
She guided us through every site with perfect timing and intention, making sure we experienced everything without ever feeling rushed.
If you are visiting Hiroshima, I cannot recommend Yoshi enough. Seeing the city through her eyes is something truly unforgettable.
