What Is a Private Day Tour of Himeji Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Engyoji, Koko-en, and Himeji Castle

Today's guests were a group from North America visiting Japan for the first time. They were planning to stay in Japan for about a month and had already visited many sightseeing spots. Today we met at a hotel in Himeji, visited Engyoji Temple on Mount Shosha, Koko-en Garden, and Himeji Castle, and then ended the tour at Himeji Station.

Although it did not rain, it was a hot and humid day, and frequent hydration was necessary. Even so, the guests kept exclaiming "beautiful, beautiful" wherever we went and took many photos. Since schools overseas were on summer vacation, there were many student tourists visiting Japan, but overall there were not too many tourists, so we were able to move around smoothly. The guests were delighted, saying that today's sightseeing was a "double thumbs up." I was very glad.
