What Is a Private Himeji Day Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Shoshazan, Kokoen, and Himeji Castle

The guests were a group visiting from North America. They had been close friends since working part-time at the same place during their student days, and now live in different places, so this trip was a chance to reunite in Japan after a long time. All of them love Japan very much and said they would like to live here if possible.

We first went to Mount Shosha, where we strolled among the cherry blossoms and the fresh greenery. A drama happened to be filming there at the time, which made for a very special scene. We then took a bus back to the city center and visited Kokoen Garden and Himeji Castle. The group walked quickly, so we finished the course a little earlier than planned, and I took them to a spectacular cherry blossom spot at the end, where they took many photos.

Afterward we said goodbye at Otemae Park, and I received a thank-you email from them after they returned home.
