What Is a Private Himeji Tour Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Engyoji Temple and Himeji Castle

The connections between the bus from Himeji Station, the ropeway, and the shuttle bus to Engyoji Temple on Mount Shosha went smoothly. The guests enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of the fresh green foliage. One of the charms of this place is that there are few tourists. I shared some historical stories, and the guests listened with interest to anecdotes such as the time Tom Cruise came to Himeji. At the bell tower, they actually rang the bell and seemed to have a lot of fun. Since the guests had mentioned that a snack would be fine for lunch, we ate the mini doughnuts I had prepared while waiting for the bus. We enjoyed the garden at Koko-en, and since Himeji Castle was not crowded, we were able to go around on schedule. The guests had a very nice camera. When I pointed out photo spots, they were delighted. Finally, I guided them to the rooftop of a nearby commercial building, where they took a photo of the entire view of Himeji Castle.
