What Is a Private Hakone Day Tour with a Licensed Guide Like? A Guide's Report
The guests were visiting Japan for the first time from North America. Although we narrowly missed the pirate ship, we had a vehicle with us, so everything went smoothly afterward, and I was glad we were able to complete the entire itinerary. Since the guests were collecting goshuin (temple and shrine seals), they received stamps and goshuin at each location and were delighted. At the soba restaurant, they requested a tatami room and enjoyed sake and soba. It was a cold day with occasional snow flurries, but as they were from North America, they seemed accustomed to the cold.

She guided us to six different venues using public transportation over the course of six hours and was very professional, flexible and informative.
