Title: What's a Private Day Tour of Hakone Like? A Licensed Guide's Report from Japan Guide Agency

The guests were on a trip to Japan. I prepared a congratulatory board and, hoping to take photos of them with Mount Fuji in the background, we headed straight up by ropeway to Owakudani. Although there were clouds in the middle, I was able to offer them a reasonably good view of Mount Fuji, which they were pleased with. At Hakone Shrine, we visited the red torii gate and the main hall, allowing them to experience a part of Japanese culture. Furthermore, at a local products shop, they enjoyed a presentation of traditional Japanese parquetry woodwork (yosegi-zaiku) together with other visitors. At the Hakone Checkpoint, they felt the atmosphere of the Edo period through stories of shoguns and samurai. At a local rice-bowl restaurant, they enjoyed Japanese food alongside many international visitors, and finally we enjoyed the early-autumn scenery aboard the pirate ship, bringing the tour to a close.

A notable stop on the tour was Hakone Shrine. Hakone Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine located at the foot of Mount Hakone on the shores of Lake Ashi, founded in the year 757. It is well known for its striking red torii gate standing in the water, which has become one of the most iconic and photographed sights in the Hakone area. Historically, the shrine was revered by samurai and travelers passing through the region, and today it remains a popular spot for visitors to experience traditional Japanese architecture and the serene natural setting around Lake Ashi.

I am a friendly grandfather of 4 grandchildren.
I would love to help you enjoy Japan, using my 3 strong points.
First: I am used to dealing with any kind of matters. I have experienced various situations in the 40 years of my working life.
Second: I am good at making a friendly atmosphere between you and local people to help you enjoy Japan. I was raised in western Japan, studied in northern Japan and now live in central Japan. So I know various local cultures and dialects to communicate with a wide variety of people.
Third: I can explain things from a technical point of view.
For example, how the Great Buddha was constructed, because I am a master of engineering graduated from Hokkaido University.
Please enjoy Japan with me. See you soon!!
