What Is a Private Day Tour of Hakone Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
[Japan Guide Agency (JGA Inc.)](https://www.j-g-a.org/) guide led a private day tour of Hakone for the group on the final day of their trip in Japan. The guests had been very much looking forward to the views from the ropeway, and thanks to the fine weather, they enjoyed the beautiful nature of the area. We had originally planned to take a bus from Motohakone to Odawara Station, but Hakone was extremely crowded with tourists during this season, and after finally boarding a bus, an accident on the national road caused heavy traffic congestion, so getting off partway and switching to the mountain railway turned out to be the right decision. Since the group was staying in Gotemba, we parted ways at Odawara Station.

Yuki was awesome. She reached out right after we made our reservation, inquired about our interests and provided a customized itinerary. She guided us to six different venues using public transportation over the course of six hours and was very professional, flexible and informative. I highly recommend her services especially for first time visitors.
