Kanagawa in One Day: The Hakone Open-Air Museum. — Guide Kei

Tour Itinerary

  • 11:00 Meet at Hotel Indigo Hakone Gora.
  • 11:30-13:00 The Hakone Open-Air Museum.
  • 13:30-14:30 Gora – Sounzan – Owakudani – Togendai Port
  • 15:00-17:00 After lunch at a soba restaurant in Moto-Hakone, disband on site.

What Is a Private Day Tour of Hakone Like? A Licensed Guide's Report

I met the guests at their [Hotel](https://www.j-g-a.org/). Since they had just finished a late breakfast, we set off for sightseeing right away.

Our first stop was the Hakone Open-Air Museum. Although the area was covered in mist, the guests enjoyed taking commemorative photos with the sculptures.

They were moved by the spectacular view of Owakudani seen from the ropeway. At the Black Egg shop, the guests found and purchased a pair of character-goods socks as a souvenir. They had been fans of the character even before coming to Japan, so they were delighted to unexpectedly find the goods in such a place.

After enjoying the cruise on the pirate ship, the guests savored tempura soba and dengaku at a soba restaurant in Moto-Hakone.

As the scheduled tour time had come to an end, I offered ideas and advice for their visit the next day, and we parted ways on site. The guests returned to their Hotel by taxi.
