Meeting at meet at 8:30, the group explored Hokkaido until the tour ended at 15:30. The day ran to 7 hours from start to finish.
The itinerary covered Goryokaku Tower at 8:45, Goryokaku Park at 9:30, Lucky Pierrot at 10:30, Hakodate Park at 11:30, Mount Hakodate Ropeway at 12:15, Hakodate Gokoku Shrine, Motomachi walking at 13:35 and Hakodate Public Hall at 15:00.
What Is a Private Cruise Excursion in Hakodate Like? A Licensed Guide's Report
The guests were a group visiting from North America who arrived by cruise ship. The tour included a private vehicle, but given how crowded Goryokaku had been for several days in a row, we set the goal of getting up Goryokaku Tower as early as possible. Luckily, we were able to go up without waiting too long. Since I had heard that none of the guests eat seafood, I suggested Lucky Pierrot, a famous local burger chain in Hakodate. I asked the driver to take us to a less crowded Lucky Pierrot, where we ordered take-out and ate on the grass at Hakodate Park. We were blessed with beautiful weather, and the guests fully enjoyed Hakodate and the cherry blossoms. Finally, we parted ways at the Red Brick Warehouses, where everyone enjoyed some shopping.
