Tour Itinerary

  • Meet at Boro Noguchi at 10:00, take the train to Goryokaku Park. 10:30 Goryokaku Tower, visited the Magistrate's Office at the guest's request. 12:30 After purchasing an IC card at Hakodate Station, had lunch. Moved to go to Mount Hakodate, but cancelled in the afternoon due to strong winds. 14:00 Kanemori Warehouse, 15:00 stroll around the Motomachi area, returned to the hotel, tour ended at 16:00

The guests had a deep interest in Japanese history and took their time exploring Goryokaku and the Magistrate's Office. They asked for very in-depth and detailed explanations covering how Hokkaido came to be, spanning its history from the Edo period through to the present day. Although the cherry blossoms at Goryokaku Park were almost over, some late-blooming cherry trees still remained, which delighted the guests. It was quite crowded during the holiday period, but since we had purchased tickets in advance at a convenience store, we were able to tour smoothly without having to wait in line. For lunch we had soba and udon, which the guests enjoyed very much.
