Title: What Is a Private Walking Tour of Hakodate Like? A Licensed Guide's Report on Mount Hakodate and the Motomachi Area

The guests were a group visiting from North America. They took a taxi to the base station of the Mount Hakodate ropeway, hoping to enjoy the view from the summit. However, the weather was not very good, and a considerable amount of fog had developed. When we asked the ropeway staff, they told us that the fog was thick and the view would not be clear. After discussing it, we decided not to ride the ropeway. Instead, we spent the time strolling through the Motomachi area. This was the first time I had experienced something like this at Mount Hakodate. The guests took photos, did some shopping, and walked along the slopes. In hindsight, I should have made the decision a little sooner and changed to a different location. From the base station of the ropeway, we walked the entire way. They did some shopping at several places. After that, we had lunch at an eatery in the morning market. The tour started earlier than scheduled and ultimately ended a little early. After using the taxi at the beginning, we walked everywhere. The photos were taken at Hachiman-zaka slope in the Motomachi area.
